WCF Culture Award for Guruji

The WORLD CULTURE FORUM is proud to announce that His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will recieve the World Culture Award. In conjunction with the second WORLD CULTURE FORUM from October 8-10 in Dresden, the WCF will honor this Indian spiritual leader for his commitment to world cultural balance.

His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of the Art of Living Foundation, will receive the first ever World Culture Award 2009 in Dresden. Dr. Jürgen U. Ohlau, President of the Cultural Senate of Saxony, maintains that Ravi Shankar “stands for cultural balance and a larger, intercultural dialogue like no other. His work transcends the cultural boundaries between politics, economics, religion, science, art, media and religion.“ Dr.Ohlau will be presenting Shankar with the award on October 10, 2009.
