Fact-India exhibition on Ahilyadevi
H.H.Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, this evening inaugurated at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir, an exhibition on AhilyaDevi Holkar, the 18th century queen of Indian, organized by FACT-India (Foundation against continuing Terrorism). This is one of many such exhibitions on historical facts, organized by Fact-India over the past few years.
The exhibition depicts her as a remarkable warrior, noted for her courage against the British, her piety, generosity, administrative ability, and concern for her people. It is an attempt to revive in the minds of Indians her contribution to the nation, as a great queen and able ruler.
