The Art of Living Foundation says that its Leader and Spiritual Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is in touch with the government after the LTTE had sought his intervention to secure a ceasefire in Sri Lanka.
LTTE’s Political Wing Head, B. Nadesan had on Monday urged Ravi Shankar through a telephone conversation to facilitate a ceasefire in the island.
Nadesan had informed Ravi Shankar that thousands of people were suffering due to the acute shortage of food and medical facilities in the narrow strip of land held by the LTTE. Read More
