Jamshedpur, Feb. 17: Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of the Art of Living Foundation, today urged Naxalites to bid farewell to arms and join the mainstream.
The spiritual guru was here to deliver a discourse at the youth leadership training programme of the foundation at Bangai Ashram in Patamda block of East Singhbhum, about 40km from the steel city.
Thousands of followers had thronged the Sonari airport since early morning to catch a glimpse of the guru. Though the chartered plane carrying Sri Sri Ravi Shankar landed two hours late — at noon instead of 10am — there was no dearth of enthusiasm.
